If you want to try some Thai food in Coventry, there is only one Thai restaurant situated in Coventry which is "Thai Dusit". Furthermore, it is very easy for you to find the restaurant that is located at 39 London Road, Coventry, West Midlands CV1 2JP. Also, customers can contact them for booking by phone "024-7622-7788".

Tom-Yum-Kung (Prawn)

Pad-Thai (Prawn)
Thai Dusit provides delicious dishes of more than 80 menu. By the way, I will recommend the special dish for me that is Pad-Thai (Prawn). It is a classic Thai noodles with king prawn, egg and topped with ground peanut. In addition, the most popular and widely eaten Thai menu is Tom-Yum-Kung (Prawn). This dish is a traditional Thai hot and sour soup; for this menu, you can select chicken, prawn, or only mushroom, it is up to you!.

Moreover, you can enjoy some traditional Thai drink such as Gar-Fair-Yen (coffee), Cha-Nom-Yen (Tea), Cha-Ma-Now (Tea), etc.

As someone that has eaten here more than five times, I would say that the food is fantastic. Also, the service is usually great! However, the cost of food is quiet expensive.

Pepper chef in Birmingham

By Guan Zhiwen

Today, we will introduce a famous Chinese restaurant in Birmingham -- Pepper Chef, which is located in  Unit 1B, Southside, Hurst Street, Birmingham. The postcode is B5 4TD.

When I first walked into this restaurant, I was attracted by its Chinese-style decoration. The menu includes most of the traditional Chinese food such as Chinese noodle, Chinese-style barbecue and China's traditional cakes.

If you don’t feel like eating the Chinese food, you can taste a variety of seafood here. I think that the price here is reasonable and the best part of this restaurant is that the service was friendly and the foods were served quickly.

As a tourist or people who wants to try the traditional Chinese food, Pepper chef is definitely a good choice for you.

If you go to Birmingham and are actually in the mood for some sushi, I would like to recommend you to go to 'Sushi Passion'. Sushi Passion is actually a sushi bar located in the Bullring Indoor Market which is near to the Bullring Shopping Centre. There are many different types of Sushi that you can find here that will fit to your taste. I can assure you that you will definitely get fresh sushi here as the chef in charge will prepare it in front of you. However, some people do not like the location of Sushi Passion because it is located in the market but I promise you it's totally worth it and you won't be disappointed!

As you can see in this picture, when you order Gunkan sushi or Sushi nigiri or roll, they will be served in accordance to this but if you order the set version, they will be served as the following picture.

This set comes with Salmon teriyaki, Spicy salmon uramaki, Salmon maki, and Salmon nigiri. The price of this set is £16.50. It is delicious and affordable price for me when you compare with other restaurants.

This set has full roll of California rainbow (Crabstiks, Avocado, Sesame, Salmon, Tuna, Prawn, Orange Masago), Small mix sashimi (Octopus, Cuttlefish, Salmon, Tuna, Ama Ebi), Salmon nigiri, Tuna nigiri, Octopus nigiri, Cuttlefish nigiri, Salmon maki, Tuna maki, Tamapgo maki, and Cucumber maki. The Saxon Mill

By Jatuporn Atipatayawong

Everybody is excited for the coming summer where the weather is going to be nice outside. What could have been better than dining out in this perfect weather? I have been looking for the restaurant that provides an outdoor seating where I could eat while appreciating the sun, the sky, and the nature. I came across The Saxon Mill in Warwick which offer the modern British food with the open bar tapas.

Here there are variety range of menu to choose from where the chef actually change the menu according to the seasonal ingredients that are available. My friends and I were there for the dinner so we ordered the chicken wing bruschetta, the beef burger, and crispy duck salad.

The burger was served with hand cut fries. The taste was quite regular as I am not a fan of burger but the patty was juicy to my taste. The chicken wing bruschetta was their special dish of the day which the chicken wings were marinated with the bbq sauce and served with the bruschetta on the side. The combination of the bbq chicken and the bruschetta was much better than what I expected. My favorite dish of the day was the crispy duck salad. The salad was not the typical salad with the usual veggie, but instead this salad came with thin slices of mooli, carrot, and cucumber. On top of that was the crispy juicy duck. The dressing was on the fruity sweet side. Together, all I could said is "perfect", super delicious and refreshing. If it is still on the menu when you get there, give it a try!!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing and will give you a break from reality. This is a great restaurant for outdoor dining or having a catch up with friends during this summertime. Not only they have tables outside for outdoor dining, but they also offers an indoor dining which also gives a nice atmosphere as well. This restaurant also serves breakfast from 8am to noon.

Fufu

By Ikechukwu Adubasim.

Fufu (Pronounced as foo foo) is an African food made from cassava. It is a very common delicacy amongst residents of West Africans. It is eaten with any kind of African soup. Making fufu involves boiling, pounding and vigorous stirring. The good thing about fufu is that it can be prepared in just under 10 minutes. The soup however, takes time to prepare.

Fufu has also been known to hold the stomach from hunger for a very long time. Which explains why many African men with jobs that involves vigorous activities tend to eat it before leaving home for work in the morning.

Another fascinating thing about fufu is that it is eaten with bare hands. That means no spoons or forks are really needed. It is eaten by moulding small balls of the fufu with the finger, and then dipping into the soup accompaning it. There are numerous African restaurants that can give you this priceless experience. If you reside in coventry, i would suggest that you visit these restaurants that are mentioned below.

Lickety Lick @ Coventry

By Marliana Syazwani Dzulkipli

"You can't buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream and that's kind of the same thing"

That was the quote on the menu at this ice cream 'heaven' in Coventry. I have to admit that I felt this rush of happiness once I entered this ice cream parlour and saw the super long list of menu. Not only this retro-looking diner serves ice cream, but also a wide selection of desserts such as waffles, donuts, sundaes, brownies, ice cream cookies and not to forget, delicious milkshakes!

Lickety Lick which is located in Far Gosford Street offers a wide variety of ice cream flavours topped with a fantastic selection of toppings and sauces for you to enjoy and it is amazingly delicious. I would recommend to all of the ice cream/dessert lovers out there to go to this ice cream heaven in Coventry to enjoy some ice cream fun time!

Miss Korea

By Tirada Suwannaparisut (Kim)

Are you looking for the Korean restaurant in West Midlands? I would like to recommend to you the best Korean restaurant in town which is called "Miss Korea" that is located in Bromsgrove street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6AB. The good news is, it is just 5 minutes walk from Bullring Shopping Centre (City Centre)!

A little bit about this restaurant, Miss Korea is a restaurant which serves traditional Korean food with BBQ. The grills recessed into each one table letting customers to cook their own food. The three famous menu in this restaurant are Bulgogi, Kimchi, and Kimchi Jjigae. Firstly, Bulgogi is a Korean main dish which compose of grilled beef with sauce. Secondly, Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish that everyone must try! It is made with many seasonal vegetables and the flavour usually sour and spicy. Finally, Kimchi Jjigae or kimchi stew.

What is more! Miss Korea provides a variety of fantastic quality food at a very reasonable price.

However, I do not like the feeling when I walked in this restaurant because it is quite dark and too much smoke in here. Moreover, the waitresses are not quite polite.
